After all the love Yahtzee (Zero Punctuation reviews) gave it and because it was only £12, I thought I should give it a try. It's surprisingly good. Very flawed, but good. I suppose it really is the anti GTA 4. The humour is barely existant and pretty poor; the story is predictable. The graphics don't compare and a lot of the mechanics for stuff like the driving just isn't as realistic. The music and radio stations are also kinda faily disappointing. Those are pretty much my only main problems with it though. Unlike GTA 4, the missions are all pretty fun and action based, the game knows how ridiculous it is and takes advantage of that. I'm not very far in yet, but it seems like it'll have plenty of play time and the overall gameplay is good. There's also a shit load of customisation available, which in some ways, is quite disturbing, as you can give your hispanic cockney-accented punk ganster quite large boobs... It also focuses more on gang based elements, instead of a more serious immigrant in America story. Less mature, but it brings back the good memories of Vice City.
