Experimental, with a lot of powerful imagery but it might bore some people. He's one of the most influential directors of people like David Lynch that nobody seems to know about. He uses a lot of satanic imagery, and moody music.

FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH, Weerasethakul is one of my very favourite directors and he's one of the best living. This, like his full lengths, is full of beautiful imagery (namely, people kicking a football that's on fire)

It's a simple concept but it's done really well and it's deeper than you'd think. This also influenced Lars von Trier.

Really it's an awful short. It's not enjoyable at all past maybe 30 seconds, and it goes on for 6 minutes. It's repetitive (you'll see when you watch it) but the idea behind it is great so on criticker I gave it a 15/100 just for being ballsy. But really, it's shit.

I don't see the big deal of Machete. It's funny (they all were) but meh. Like Hobo tons more, and they're making a full film of that too.

I think the main big deal of Machete for me is: Danny Trejo, priest with shotguns. But yeah, they were all good.

Here's another comical short, Eminem did this, it's called "Where Have You Been." Very funny stuff.

It was actually pretty good, but I'm still glad it ended when he started to rap.
