If you want to see American ghetto/police, then this is the show for you. It's fiction but it has such an eye for accuracy that there are reports of criminals using the knowledge they get from the show to avoid getting caught. It's great because it sets up the show as a normal cop vs robbers type show, but as it goes on it digs deeper and deeper into sociopolitical themes, urban life, artistic ambitions, or even just the way it portrays both cops and ...
